The UtiliFlex Event/Outage Management System receives and integrates data from many sources including UtiliFlex core, NES, 3rd party meter management systems, SCADA, and network management tools into several comprehensive priority driven interfaces. UtiliFlex EOM works stand-alone, or can tightly interfaced with UtiliFlex.
UtiliFlex EOM and MapServer
UtiliFlex EOM is an event receiver and rules engine that can handle large amounts of data, process it, and depending on customer editable triggers and priorities, may notify work order systems, e-mail or text message the appropriate people or connect to another outage management system. UtiliFlex EOM event data is automatically linked to UtiliFlex core records, allowing end users to click directly to customer data and smart grid communications logs for more information.
To the left, UtiliFlex EOM is feeding a MapServer interface, and has a dynamically updating informational display overlayed on the GIS data. This UtiliFlex module can use ESRI Shapefiles, PostGIS, ESRI ArcSDE, Oracle Spacial Data and many other map data formats.
UtiliFlex EOM and Google Maps
UtiliFlex EOM can also "KISS" - Keep it Simple and Safe, the Google Maps the UtiliFlex EOM Module is useful for smaller data sets and integrates well with the Google Maps API. It's a fantastic manager's dashboard item, or useful for a customer service representative.
